The travel industry is starting to see numbers climb at airports across the country. Last week we highlighted the many direct and nonstop flights to and from New Orleans. The BACH, an app to help plan the perfect singles trip, noted that many are expected to travel in August for wedding-related trips, with even more trips during the cooler fall and winter months. .
If you’re looking to get away from it all before these busy months begin, the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel and the New Orleans Marriott have a few summer deals that can add lagniappe to your trip to Crescent City.
In a press release, both hotels announced initiatives to allow guests to stay longer and save more while enjoying their stay in New Orleans. Each hotel offers four packages with different items to entice guests to extend their stay.
First, hotels have the “Extend Your Big Easy Weekend” initiative. When you take advantage of this option, the longer you stay in hotels, the lower your room rate. Arrive on a Thursday or Friday and stay until Sunday or Monday and save 15% (for a three night stay) or 20% (for a four night stay).
Each of the hotels offers package additions that include free overnight parking (a Summer Staycation offer) or airport transportation (a worry-free transportation offer) for guests staying on the property.
The “Experience New Orleans” offer offers customers a $ 30 Joieful Concierge Gift Card that can be spent on a variety of activities, as well as a promotional card for a free aperitif at Dickie Brennan & Co Palace Café restaurants, Bourbon House, Tableau or Dickie Brennan’s Steak House.
And finally, customers traveling to NOLA can participate in the “Spice up your stay with TABASCO Sauce” promotion. This promotion is in collaboration with the TABASCO brand and the New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute. The promotion includes room offers and the chance to win an immersive dining experience at NOCHI. This offer is valid until September 30 and includes the following, according to a press release about the promotion:
- A room at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel or the New Orleans Marriott
- Late check-out at 2 p.m.
- A TABASCO branded welcome set with three 5 oz. Bottles of TABASCO Brand Pepper Sauces, including TABASCO Red Pepper Sauce, TABASCO Green Jalapeño Sauce, and TABASCO Chipotle Pepper Sauce
