Jemma Solomon, 33, hosted the pink-themed party for expectant parents Stacey, 31, and fiancee Joe Swash, 39, and revealed that friends had texted her in advance, were preparing to watch the two get married.
Jemma transformed the garden of Stacey and Joe’s £ 1.2million house in Essex – which they named Pickle Cottage – into a pink paradise, which she called ‘the baby shower of dreams’.
However, it seemed that the pink flower, balloons, and a table decorated with beautiful cutlery and greenery gave some revelers a bad impression.
She said OKAY! Magazine: “So many people have sent me a message like, ‘Is this a secret wedding? “And I said to myself:” No! Doesn’t that sound like a baby shower? “
Jemma, also a mother of three, also confessed that she wanted the day to be a surprise for the Loose Women panelist, refusing to let her get involved in the planning.
“Stacey was not allowed to go down into the garden at all. She must have been in the house all day and only went out at first, so she had no idea.
The businesswoman added: “I arranged some things well in advance, but the majority, I did it in a week and literally did it the week before because I knew what I wanted to, so I did it very quickly.
Jemma explained that Stacey “loved” her daughters and that they helped her train before the arrival of her first baby girl.
“Every time they’re around she’s like, ‘Oh, I’m so excited to do this! “”
Wearing a flowing pink silk dress with flowers cascading through her braided auburn locks, Stacey beamed as she enjoyed the celebrations of her daughter’s impending arrival.
The TV star shared a series of adorable snaps with his 4.6 million followers, showing Joe cradling his baby and lovingly looking at his future wife.
The happy couple smiled from ear to ear as they enjoyed the beautiful afternoon, with Loose Women co-stars Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha and Judi Love were also present.
Stacey already has three sons, Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships, and Rex, two, whom she shares with Joe.
The bubbly couple first met when Stacey was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2010 and the former Eastenders star hosted the spinoff show of ITV2.
However, they did not meet until 2016.
