Our Opinion: Share Your Marriage Story – Austin Daily Herald
He is back!
Austin Living is already starting to prepare for its second annual bridal edition, scheduled for January-February 2022.
We had an incredible pleasure working on the first edition in showcasing wedding couples and their special day, plus tips and ideas brides-to-be might want to carry over to their own wedding day.
However, Austin Living Magazine’s Bridal Edition is very reader-oriented as what we produce in this issue is up to the couples themselves, as we believe the best way to truly describe a wedding day is to spend. by the bride herself.
All three characteristics are submitted to Austin Living based on a questionnaire that we send out. With that in mind, if you think your wedding would be perfect for Austin Living, we ask that you contact Editor-in-Chief Eric Johnson in the coming weeks at [email protected] with the subject line “Austin Bride” . Please include a brief description of your wedding day, theme and notable parts, as well as 4-8 photos so that we can get a visual idea of your day.
Johnson and editor Crystal Miller will review each submission and respond to the three brides we choose, along with the quiz and a request for as many photos as you want.
We are particularly interested in photos of the bride and groom, the wedding party, details surrounding the wedding and the dinner that followed (dinner settings, decorations, etc.).
Basically anything that shows what made your wedding great.
The deadline to submit your wedding is Friday, November 19, 2021. Questionnaires will be sent out the following week.
Keep in mind that we’re also looking for possible story ideas that might not fit into our three features and that would work well as an introduction to the section, like a wedding with a unique storyline or a particularly fairytale ending.
We also have a special Seen section with submitted wedding photos.
So remember that the submission deadline is Friday, November 21, 2021. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Johnson at 1-507-434-2237.
