Home and Away’s Debra Lawrance and Dennis Coard Celebrate 30th Wedding Anniversary


Alongside the sweet photo, she wrote a lengthy tribute dedicated to the day that launched the rest of their lives.

“30 years ago today (February 29) this handsome man and I got married in Avalon,” she began.

“It’s us having a delicious celebratory dinner at @theeuropeanmelbourne between part one and part two of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in 2020 – our official anniversary date (7th 😉). My gratitude knows no bounds. limits.”

She concluded her message, “Happy birthday my dear Dennis. Lots of love and thank you from the bottom of my heart for accepting to be the father of our two beautiful children 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️@coardelette @will_coard.”

Debra, who played Pippa Ross on At home and away from 1990 to 1998, received a multitude of messages from fans congratulating her on the past 30 years of marital bliss.

One wrote, “Love, hugs and congratulations to you both…❤️❤️,” and another shared, “Wedding Feb 29 leap year. That’s awesome 👌.”

The couple’s relationship blossomed after they met on the set of At home and away, when Dennis was cast for Michael Ross, Pippa’s second husband and in 2011 they said women’s day how the soap changed their lives.

At home and away gave me my life” said Debra, who met Dennis during her first screen test for the role of Michael.

“If I hadn’t had a steady job, I don’t think I would have had kids. I met Dennis, we have two amazing kids and he’s a brilliant dad.”

“I met Dennis exactly when my ovaries were screaming, ‘Hello!'” she told the publication.

“I must have smelled his testosterone. I flirted with him and there was chemistry, then I spent the next six weeks being rude to him. I guess I was testing him.”
