Game console stolen from home on Valencia Drive – Chicago Tribune

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Robert W. Mauer of the 700 block of Broadview Avenue in Highland Park was charged with criminal damage to property between $500 and $10,000 on May 3. He was arrested when he turned himself in to Northbrook Police Department for damaging property in the 1300 block of Meadow Road Oct 9. He was transported to Cook County Court in Skokie for a bail hearing .
ILLEGAL USE OF A CREDIT CARD
Ennis Gomez of the 14900 block of 168th Street in Miami, Florida, was charged with felony unlawful use of a credit card on May 3. Gomez used a fraudulent credit card to pay for gas in the 2300 block of Waukegan Road. The receipts provided did not match the card numbers Gomez had in his possession. He was rushed to Cook County Court for a bail hearing. He is next due to appear in Cook County Court on May 9 in Skokie.
Jose L. Salcedo of the 8200 block of Dempster Street in Niles was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, stopping a vehicle on the roadway, driving below the minimum speed limit and carrying illegal alcohol on May 1st. Police observed that Salcedo stopped at a green light at the intersection of Pfingsten and Willow Roads sleeping behind the willow tree. Police determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was released on bail and is due in Cook County Court on May 16 in Skokie.
APPREHENSION BY WARRANT
Edwin Gomez Garcia of the 2700 block of Grove Avenue in Waukegan was apprehended on a DuPage County warrant on April 29. After finding an abandoned vehicle in the 0-30 block of Skokie Blvd., police then located Garcia, who is the owner, and learned he was wanted on a warrant for driving while his license was suspended. He was transported to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
A resident reports that an unknown person removed a game console from his home in the 2000 block of Valencia Drive on May 1.
A person reports that an unknown person entered and removed several items from their vehicle in the 100 block of Skokie Blvd. May 2nd.
A resident of the 2000 block of Lake Placid Lane said she bought a gift card, gave her personal information, then determined it was a scam on May 1.
A person reported that an unknown person removed the catalytic converters from their vehicles in the 900 block of Skokie Blvd. May 1.
A person has reported that an unknown person removed the catalytic converter from their vehicle in the 2000 block of Dundee Road on May 1.
A person reports that an unknown person removed the catalytic converters from two buses in the 2100 block of Foxglove Drive on May 5.
A resident of the 4000 block of Russett Lane reported transferring a large sum of money to a malware support company on April 30 and discovered it was a scam.
