California couple celebrates wedding at “World’s Coolest Taco Bell”

Lovers are joining a growing number of couples opting for celebrate their wedding in fast food restaurants like Taco Bell. The company told Insider in June that it married nearly 500 couples at its Las Vegas Cantina location – which has its own chapel and a $ 600 wedding package that includes a half-hour ceremony, officiant, personalized merchandise, food and drink – since its inception. offering the service in 2018.
And Taco Bell isn’t the only fast food chain attracting couples who are getting married. Garcia told Insider that she first came up with the idea after stumbling across a TikTok video about weddings at Cantina Las Vegas. She then contacted James Aman, a district manager for several Taco Bell locations in the Bay Area, who helped with the planning.
“The reception was served buffet style,” she told Insider. “The staff were amazing and constantly brought in fresh produce. Of course, since this is a cantina, we also had fortified ice cubes as well as beer and wine for the guests.”
Wedding photographer Emily Jenks captured the festive event, which included decor like bouquets made from sachets of hot sauce, bottles of Taco Bell branded wine, a wedding cake topped with Cinnabon Delights.
“It was such a fun reception,” Jenks wrote in a message to Insider. “Unlimited Taco Bell – I was like, is that a dream?” “
While Garcia and Howser didn’t, in fact, first set eyes on Quesaritos, the couple told the San Francisco Chronicle the restaurant has been a staple of their relationship.
“I remember we used to drive up to Taco Bell and take long drives and chat when we were younger,” Garcia told The Chronicle.
Howser added, “The $ 5 box was too good a deal for a college budget. It kind of became a fixture for us.”
Although Taco Bell has more than 7,000 locations worldwide, Pacifica Cantina consistently ranks among its top destinations around the world.
